Gaborone, Botswana's capital city will become cycling mad as it hosts an open-entry 100km sportive event as the final stage of a seven day, 1,000km cycling tour from Kasane to Gaborone.
Tour Ya Botswana is organized by an Executive Committee consisting of 3 representatives from the benefitting charities and a Local Organising Committee consisting of volunteers from Botswana's public and private sectors. The local organising committee has experience of organising fundraising bike challenges across the UK, France and Italy and they along with the Executive Committee will ensure that the purpose and spirit of the event is fulfilled by upholding the event's values.
